Meet the artist

Jenny Klukken is an artist, musician, mother of two, and lover of nature. Currently, she resides in Richfield near Minneapolis, Minnesota, but she spent her childhood in rural Minnesota on a her family’s farm.

Jenny returned to her love for painting during the COVID pandemic, since her life as a musician was on hold. She took online classes and re-aquainted herself with her passion for painting. Over the years since then, Jenny has continued to create new works from mediums like high-flow acrylics, watercolors, and thick acrylics.

Jenny’s latest works can be found at popular Twin Cities art festivals throughout the year, as well as online. She is most often inspired by the outdoors; the chaos of wild flowers or native grasses. She also creates more abstract works inspired by sound and wind patterns.

Jenny’s signature touch of colorful whimsy and raised-texture is uniquely her own.
